General Conference Approves Reorganization of the Adventist Church in the North Philippines: Two New Union Missions to Launch in 2025

The Executive Committee at the General Conference during its Annual Council on October 16, 2024, recently approved the reorganization of the North Philippine Union Conference (NPUC) into two separate union missions, set to take effect on January 1, 2025.

OCTOBER 23, 2024

It was recommended to the GC Executive Committee to reorganize the North Philippine Union Conference in the Southern Asia-Pacific Division into two union missions, effective January 1, 2025, as follows:

Northern Luzon Philippine Union Mission, comprising the Central Luzon Conference, Mountain Provinces Mission, Northeast Luzon Mission, and Northern Luzon Mission. Its headquarters will be based in Manila City, Philippines.
Southern Luzon Philippine Union Mission, consisting of the Cavite Mission, Mindoro Island Mission, Palawan Mission, South-Central Luzon Conference, and Southern Luzon Mission. Its headquarters will be located in Lipa City, Philippines.

One giant step closer to realizing our dream: the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Adventist University Medical Center! There was a gentle shower during the ceremony... but everyone's heart was warmed by the felicitations & commitment of stakeholders, with no less than DOH Secretary Ted Herbosa, PRC BOM Chair Dr Efren Laxamana , Past Chair Dr Zenaida Antonio as special guests.
